Suzanne Algeo (nee Holden) is the founder and chairperson of Wheels in Motion. The charity was established in 2010 and has been a constant in the community since then. Suzanne has a passion for people and works as a Healthcare Chaplain 3 days a week.
She is married to Paul, mum to Zachary and step-mum to Paul and Chelsea.
Suzanne loves to bake, and enjoys reading when she gets the time! Spending time with her friends and family is her greatest joy.
She is also the co-founder of ‘Women of God’, an annual conference that seeks to encourage and challenge women in their faith
Elspeth is a retired nurse and she's been involved with the charity since the very beginning (2010). She is Suzanne's mum and she enjoys looking after Paul and Suzanne's wee boy Zachary when they are at work. She does a huge amount behind the scenes including preparing food each week and keeping track of the charities spending.
Jim is married to Janet and they have two children and two grandchildren. He joined the team in 2012 and describes his experience as being "wonderful and lifechanging". He is our schools contact and engages with a number of young people participating in the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI).
Paul became involved in 2016 after meeting Suzanne at Broken Chains in Ayr. They got married in 2017 and they have three children. He works in Ayr as a Family/Development Worker with the Church of Scotland. He is also Lay Preacher with the Scottish Baptist Lay Preachers Association (SBLPA). He enjoys watching Ayr United and attending the gym too.
